The Narrow bandpass filters transmit a well-defined wavelength while blocking the unwanted wavelength of light

Bandpass filters transmit light only within a defined spectral band ranging from less than one to many nanometers wide.It's preferable to monochromators because of their higher transmission and better signal-to-noise .

These filters are available for use in conjunction with commonly used IR illuminators operating at or around the 940nm wavelength. BN940 filters feature a narrow band design that is ideal for use when ambient light conditions create poor contrast. They are commonly used in security, traffic control, LPR and industrial inspection applications.
